Definitely a larger gap between this post and the last than I had originally thought. I got surprisingly busy with an injury and another job. Now I'm getting back on course with all of this, I'm trying to figure out exactly what I plan to do with this site to get it up to speed with current coding styles, at the moment it's really outdated. I also put out a new freerunning video on my YouTube channel. I played around a bit more with editing on that one than I had on previous videos, hopefully I'll have a few more out this summer. That's it for now, the next post should definitely be sooner than the last.

So... it's been a long time since I last made a update here, quite a lot has happened which I may post about later. The important part is that I've decided to get back into web design, ideally moreso than I was before. There have been a few changes in HTML and CSS that I've already learned about and started implementing here, and I plan to use this site as my main testing ground for everything I'll be learning from here on out. As well as designing a few other sites for portfolio purposes. That'll be it for now, expect more soon!

Due to a busy summer in 2009 abruptly ending with a random back injury, I've been more or less out of the loop in terms of training and pretty much everything but gaming, work, and a few other random things. After getting that taken care of it took a while to get back into a solid training routine, now I'm back in action though with a few new different training focuses to add on to the old ones. I'll be updating the blog page and making a video which go into further detail some time soonish.

Kind of lagging behind on updates as usual. Three weeks ago I went on a random (incredibly) last minute trip to L.A. for Anime Expo and just hanging out in general. The weekend following that was the PKFR International jam in Pittsburgh, PA. And this weekend that just passed was the Chicago Colossal jam. Hopefully I'll be able to update the blog section with more detailed reviews on those, as well as catching up on what I left out from earlier entries. The PKFR jam had a film festival, so I made a video for that one as well, though with only a friends laptop (Thanks again Ben), and Syn's external hard drive with my footage on it, the video I made definitely could have been better. Though, the video I made in and hour did actually turn out half decent. I'll publicly release that video just minutes before the new one, since some of the clips will be the same in both videos (Though not all, I'm planning on doing a little more filming for the new one this week.

I haven't really set aside the time to update this in a while, been rather busy this summer though. Since my last update, a few things have happened, which if I find the time, I'll update into the blog section. Until then, here's a quick summary. ACen was a little hectic, but was fun as always. The (B)East Coast Jam was even better than it was the year before, definitely worth the twelve hour drive to get to it. The Midwest Jam was in Minneapolis this year, the campus we trained on was definitely one of the best training locations I've seen yet, I hope to train there again some time soon. The most recent was Fieldcon in Ohio, which was just as crazy as they had said it would be at Anime Punch. My last camping experience sucked, this one on the other hand was pretty epic.
There was a film festival at the (B)East Coast jam this year, and they asked people to send in new videos to Premier at the film festival. At the end of the night on Saturday they went upstairs and hooked up a projector to display the videos on one of the walls, the room was cramped with people and Skipper set it up so it would broadcast over the internet (Due to technical issues, without sound). The Monday and Tuesday preceding the jam I managed to go out and film the remaining footage I needed to get a video together. It's a little late, but here's my Early 2009 video:
I might be making a trip out to California this weekend for Anime Expo and to get some training in there, and the following weekend I'll be in Pittsburgh for the PKFR International Jam. There will be a video showing there too, so I'll probably try to put together a new video with some of the footage I've shot at recent jams and what I'll probably shoot this weekend.

Well, this is a little late, but I made a Calendar. Yay calendar. Basically just to easily keep track of the jams, cons, or whatever I plan on going to any time soonish.
Also, I entered APK's practical parkour contest. Basically, the contest works like this. You make a 20 second video showing a practical situation in which parkour is used, then the video gets uploaded to the APK youtube page and the winner is the video with the most views. So yeah, help me win, show your friends, etc:

I've had a little bit of free time at work, so I've used that to get a little bit of work done on the site. After finally getting an idea for how to do it, I started putting the videos page together. It'll probably take a little time before it's 100%, but hey, at least it's up. Hopefully more will come up soon. Going to Indiana this weekend for their first National Jam, so I'll try to throw a blog or some sort of review together after that.

The weather was pretty nice Tuesday, seemed more or less dry out, so I decided to try out a few things I had been practicing in the gym outside. Went into my backyard first, then made my way to a few local parks and other locations for a bit of training. Here's the video I made from my hour and a half of training that day.

Finally decided to make some progress on the site. No guarntee I'll keep up with setting it up this time, but at least it looks better now. It's basically just a small tweak of an old layout, but I don't think any of the 30 or so people who saw it before will really care. I'll try to update some more soon.
Finished my 2008 parkour and freerunning video recently, enjoy:
